8 January 2025: The Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Employment (MoICE) officially launched its much-anticipated Investment Roadshow in India at the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, New Delhi, on 7th January 2025.
The high-level delegation is led by the Hon’ble Minister, Lyonpo Namgyal Dorji, and includes representatives from the Economic Development Board (EDB), the private sector, state-owned enterprises, Druk Holding & Investments (DHI), and Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC).

The event in New Delhi brought together 75 investors from the Indian private sector and 31 representatives from Bhutan's private sector and state-owned enterprises.
During the B2B sessions, participants from both countries explored potential areas of collaboration within the targeted sectors and beyond. The Bhutanese delegation presented a total of 41 investment-ready projects, generating substantial interest and discussions on partnership opportunities.
The roadshow will continue in Mumbai on 10th January and in Bangalore on 13th January, with a dual focus on promoting investments and enhancing tourism opportunities in Bhutan.
