Business Guest Visa/Permit is recommended for industries falling under Production and Manufacturing, Service, and Construction sector for all business guests visiting for official/business purposes including feasibility study visit, market viability study, site inspection (FDI), exhibition/ fair (with an authorization letter from the relevant agency). 

However,  Business guests for the purpose of construction /installation/renovation/non-construction (training/professional purpose)  are required to apply for a work permit from the Department of Labor.
Domestic Industry license holder shall submit the following documents to the Hon’ble Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment:

Application Procedure and Required Documents
1. Domestic Industry license holder shall submit the following documents to the Hon’ble Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment:
- An application addressed to the Secretary, MoICE specifying the intent of the visit of the guest
- Duly Filled Business Guest Application Form
- Duly Filled visa/entry permit application form filled and signed by the guest
- Authorization letter from the company/employer of the guest/contractual agreement 
- Credentials of the guest(s)- Curriculum Vitae (CV) including a copy of academic & training certificate/work experience certificate.
- A copy of an expert report on previous visits or a copy of Minutes of Meeting by the same business guest(s), if any.
- A copy of the passport/work permit/voter card of the guest (the passport must be valid for at least six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan)
- Detailed day-wise program of the visit
2. FDI License holders/FDI Registration Certificate holders shall submit the following documents to the  Head of the Department of Industry (DoI).

2.1 For FDI promoters/investors, Board Directors, technical/managerial personnel, including potential investors:
- An application addressed to the Director, DoI specifying the intent of the visit of the guest(s).
- Duly Filled Business Guest Application Form
- Duly Filled visa/entry permit application form signed by the guest
- Authorization letter from the company/employer of the guest/contractual agreement, except for investors.

Credentials of the guest(s)- Curriculum vitae including a copy of academic & training certificate/work experience certificate, except for investors.
- A copy of an expert report on previous visits or a copy of Minutes of Meeting by the same business guest(s), if any.
- A copy of the passport/work permit/voter card of the guest (the passport must be valid for at least six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan)
- Detailed day-wise program of the visit
- Application for the above-mentioned guests lodged by FDI projects that are not licensed yet should be supported with a copy of the FDI Registration Certificate. 

2.2 For direct dependents of promoters/investors of established FDI  industries in Bhutan:
-
An application addressed to the Director, DoI specifying the intent of the visit.
- Duly Filled dependent Application Form.
-A copy of the passport/work permit/voter card of the guest (the passport must be valid for at least six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan)
- Duly Filled visa/entry permit application form as applicable.
- Notarized copy of Marriage Certificate (for spouse) 
- Notarized copy of birth certificate (for children below 18 years)
- Copy of Valid Investor Card.

2.3 For  adult children, parents and parents-in-law of promoters/investors of established FDI  industries in Bhutan:
-
An application addressed to the Director, DoI specifying the intent of the visit.
- Duly Filled visa/entry permit application form as applicable.
- A copy of the passport/work permit/voter card of the guest (the passport must be valid for at least six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan)
- Evidence establishing the relationship. All such documents must be notarized.
- Copy of Valid Investor Card.
- Detailed day-wise program of the visit.
